The library serves as a knowledge and learning resource centre, catering to the academic, research and information needs of students, faculty members and researchers. With a collection of more than 50,000 books, 45 journals and magazines, and 18 newspapers, the library provides a wide range of resources to support teaching, learning and research. It also offers access to the N-LIST e-resources, internet facilities, reprographic services and various student-oriented library services. The library has a seating capacity of approximately 120 readers, including a separate 10-seat reading facility for teachers. Managed by a qualified Librarian Mr. Uday Kulkarni and two library attendants, it remains accessible from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m., including Sundays and holidays, ensuring extended learning opportunities for students. Through its user-friendly services, book bank facilities, digital resources and academic support initiatives, Vikas College Library strives to promote a culture of reading, lifelong learning, independent study and knowledge creation.
